| About Roberta
Roberta was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, until she and her family moved to South Florida when she was in her early teens. While in Florida, Roberta studied acting, theatre and journalism and graduated with a Degree in Communications. Roberta also completed an internship with the government funded Florida Film Liaison Office, where she worked behind the scenes on film productions.
Also during this time, Roberta worked on her true passion--acting, and starred in stage plays, musicals, film, TV, commercials, and performed voice-over work. She also focused on her writing skills and began writing screenplays.
Having received positive response from film industry people, she packed up and headed West, trading the tranquil beaches of Florida for the surf city beaches of California.
In California, Roberta has starred in theatre productions, television, and independent film. Currently, Roberta has finished post-production on her Documentary Feature Film, "RATS & BULLIES," on which she served as Co-Producer/Co-Writer/Co-Director. The film was awarded the Women In Film's Film Finishing Fund Award, has been met with tremendous response from initial test audiences, and is being set for distribution.
She has just completed the screenplay for the feature film based on the true-life story that was the subject of the documentary.
When not working on acting/film projects, Roberta spends time bicycling, playing tennis, basketball, boogieboarding, and boating.
